Princess Mary’s youngest daughter, Princess Josephine has reached a fresh milestone, commencing at a new school.
The 12-year-old is about to commence grade six at Kildegård private school, in Hellerup, Denmark.

Josephine was previously a pupil at Tranegårdsskolen, the same school as her twin brother Prince Vincent, 12.
The prince will remain at Tranegårdsskolen.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Josephine enters the new school year in Year 6 class at Kildegård private school,” the Danish palace said in a statement, alongside Josephine’s royal cypher.

“The princess starts at her new school in the coming week and is looking forward to further schooling.”
They did not disclose the reason, only that Josephine was moving schools.

In addition to Josephine and Vincent, Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary have two other children, Prince Christian, 17, and Princess Isabella, 15.

Christian, second in line for the throne, is set to turn 18 in October.
In June 2022, Christian was pulled from his boarding school, Herlufsholm, after it was rocked by a bullying scandal.
Frederik and Mary released a statement at the time stating that they were “deeply shaken” by the allegations.
“We have also made it clear that, as parents of a child at the school, we expect that the school will do what it must do to rectify the unacceptable conditions,” the statement at the time read.

“It has been a difficult process for us as a family, but, based on the overall picture and our special position as Crown Prince Couple, we have chosen that Prince Christian will stop at Herlufsholm and that Princess Isabella will not start in 9th class at the school after the summer holiday.
“During the summer, we, together with our children, will make a decision about their future choice of schools.”
Christian transferred to Ordrup Gymnasium and Isabella is currently attending Oregard Gymnasium, the same school as her father.
The news comes after the royal couple was spotted attending an anniversary service in Christiansfeld as the Danish town prepares to mark its 250th birthday.

Mary was spotted blowing a kiss to a friend who was sitting behind her during the service.
The Australian-born princess stunned in a red Raquel Diniz gown with nude heels and a floral headpiece.
Walking into the service beside Frederik, Mary carried a small bouquet of flowers.
