Catherine, Princess of Wales seems to have found a fashion formula that works – and, for the moment, she’s sticking to it.
Kate wore a pantsuit for the eighth time in recent public appearances when she stepped out in the Welsh city of Cardiff with Prince William on Tuesday.

Whilst the fashion-savvy Princess has been mixing up the suits she wears, one wardrobe item has made a repeat showing – the crossover white blouse she pairs with her jacket-and-pants combos.
Except, as it turns out, it’s not actually a blouse at all.
It’s one of Kate’s favourite “secret” fashion hacks – an ingeniously designed bodysuit that looks, to all intents and purpose, like a blouse.
The top half is attached to a nylon elastane thong base, according to People reporter Monique Jessen.

That means there is less of the “bulky” look that tends to happen when a blouse is tucked into pants.
Instead, the bodysuit gives Kate a more streamlined look.

The Cupro Shirt Bodysuit is by English brand Holland Cooper, who also designed the stylish pinstriped suit Kate wore in Cardiff.
It’s been a staple in the royal’s wardrobe since 2021, when it made its first appearance during a Zoom call with NHS nurses during the COVID pandemic.
Proving yet again how influential Kate’s fashion choices are, the bodysuit promptly sold out and has been a bestseller for the brand ever since.
The princess has, for the time being, ditched her dresses, coats and skirts for the tailored, business style “power suit.”

The pinstriped Cardiff look is the eighth time Kate has worn a pantsuit in one month alone.
Fashion expert Miranda Holder told Express.co.uk there was a reason for the recent wardrobe tweak.
“Her wardrobe has adjusted to suit her ever-evolving role within the family, and its latest incarnation has garnered much attention, but perhaps not for the reasons you would expect,” she said.
“It was announced earlier this year that the Palace would no longer release details of what and who Kate is wearing, most probably in an attempt to focus the world’s media on the important work the royals conduct rather than their fashion choices.

“But, despite this recent lack of information, Kate is still hailed as a fashion icon globally, with the ‘Kate effect’ bringing good fortune to the brands she champions.
“Perhaps this is why Kate’s image seems to have evolved yet again, with the princess wearing more and more suits in her latest role and wearing them exclusively for royal appointments since she returned from summer break.”
