Crown Princess Mary of Denmark wows fans in stunning floral gown

Princess Mary has stunned in a dramatic outfit during a visit to Stockholm to celebrate the Swedish king’s 50-year Jubilee.

Pictures posted to the Danish royal family’s official Instagram account show dignitaries dressed up to the nines for the special anniversary.

“The celebrations for the occasion of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden’s 50-year government jubilee has begun,” the pictures were captioned.

“Among the guests … are Her Majesty The Queen, The Crown Prince and Her Majesty Queen Anne-Marie.

“The Danish royal family lives on the Royal Ship Dannebrog during their visit to Stockholm.”

Some of the pictures show Princess Mary disembarking from the royal ship, looking stunning in her strapless black and white floral gown.

The gown featured a black neck sash and matching waistband and was paired with elegant drop earrings.

Princess Mary wore her hair side parted and clipped back at one side.

It’s not the first time the Australian-born royal has worn the dress.

Princess Mary first donned the gown by Danish designer Lasse Spangenberg to a dinner celebrating the 10th anniversary of her charity, The Mary Foundation.

She also wore the dress to a gala dinner hosted by Queen Margrethe in 2018.

Walking by Mary’s side at the event in Stockholm was Crown Prince Frederik, looking dapper in a black suit, black bowtie and white pocket square.

Queen Margrethe also looked elegant in a pale blue and pink floral dress, matching pale blue wrap, strings of pearls and white pump shoes.

King Carl Gustaf, 77, is the first king in the history of the Swedish monarchy to reach 50 years on the throne.

After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, this makes him the second-longest reigning European monarch alive today – after Queen Margrethe, who celebrated her own 50th Jubilee in 2022.

Royal watchers flocked to the comments section of the Danish royals’ Instagram post to remark on how stunning Princess Mary looked.

“Princess Mary looks fabulous!” one fan wrote.

“Princess Mary! Absolutely Beautiful,” said another.

“Blimey Mary is elegant,” wrote a third.
