The photo was taken of young Kate sitting at a Christmas dinner table in 1983, when she was just about to turn two years old.
In the picture, Kate is wearing a dark cardigan and a blue and white dress, along with a multi-coloured beaded necklace.
Her brunette hair is slightly wavy and cut short.

“Copy and pasted little Louis!” agreed another.
“That’s literally Prince Louis if he was a girl,” added a third.

“I think we can all agree Louis is the spitting image of his mother … the Middleton gene is visible,” one person remarked.
“Aww !! Catherine was such a cutie pie 😍,” another follower wrote.
“I so do see so many glimpses of baby prince Louis in her ❤️.”
The picture was shared as part of Kate’s awareness-raising Shaping Us campaign, which focuses on children in their first five years of life.
“Sharing some festive memories this Christmas because #ShapingUs is all about the vital importance of our early years and the role played by those around us in shaping the rest of our lives,” the picture was captioned.

The campaign was launched a year ago and was the inspiration behind the Princess of Wales’ annual Christmas carol concert, held earlier this month at Westminster Abbey in London.
The service was attended by Kate, Prince William, and their children Louis, 5, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 8.

In the lead-up to the Together at Christmas concert, Kate took her children to a baby bank in Berkshire to help pack gifts and provisions for struggling families, People reports.
Explaining that many of the people sorting gifts and donations for disadvantaged families were giving their time for free, Kate told her kids: “You’re the volunteers for this evening.”

Recently, photographs emerged from the filming of the Together at Christmas concert showing Louis attempting to blow out older sister Charlotte’s Christmas candle.
Rather than getting annoyed, however, the rest of the royal family laughed, finding the moment amusing.
Social media went into overdrive, as it has each time Louis has done something cheeky in public.

When Hello magazine’s Instagram shared a story about William’s affection towards Louis during the Together at Chrtistmas event, Supernanny Jo Frost popped up in the comments section with her take on Louis’ behaviour and his parents’ reaction to it.
“Prince Louis is a child I believe who is a highly sensitive person, he is elevated by high energy experiences and can sometimes get excited (to) the point that his behaviour may be unpredictable,” she wrote.
“Sometimes it can be cute like blowing out candles or cheeky when he doesn’t want to accept what’s being asked of him by a parent.
“Prince William, an assertive, intuitive father in my opinion, shows his confident ability to hold Louis’ hand to keep him safe and from creating any cheeky ‘trouble’ at the church whilst still remaining calm and confident, which is in fact the energy Prince Louis needs to feel in these moments.

“I say Bravo to both parents, they do an exceptional job under scrutiny from so many. 👏🏾 🙌❤️.”

Many agreed with her assessments, while others did not.
“Perfect statement, so spot on,” one person wrote.
“I am also a HSP (highly sensitive person) and so is my third child, and Prince Louis remind me SO MUCH of my third one.
“Love his character and spontaneity!!”

“Prince Louis reminds me so much of my son,” added another.
“I agree and think they do an exceptional job. I always feel like I am being judged, I can’t imagine how it is for them.”
Others thought the Supernanny was overstepping the mark with her comments.
“You should not be diagnosing children you see in pictures and short clips,” one person said.
“You’re not a doctor or psychiatrist, and the royal family is not participating in one of your programs.”
