Catherine, Princess of Wales has given a rare glimpse into her daughter Princess Charlotte’s personality.
The eight-year-old is a keen dancer, according to her mother, with a passion for ballet and tap dance.
Kate made the comment while visiting a textile mill in Leeds, speaking with crowds as she left the venue.

One young girl in the crowd gave the princess a hand-drawn photo of Kate, according to Daily Mail.
Kate asked what her favourite hobby was, to which the youngster responded, “Dancing!”
“My daughter Charlotte likes dancing, she loves ballet and tap… Keep up the dancing,” the princess said in response.

Charlotte is not the only young royal to enjoy dancing.
In a video shared by Kensington Royal in 2018, William said: “George is doing dancing… he loves it.”

That comment sparked Good Morning America presenter Lara Spencer to make the controversial comment, “Prince William says George absolutely loves ballet. I have news for you Prince William: We’ll see how long that lasts”.
The TV journalist received backlash at the time, prompting an apology for the “insensitive comment”.
“From ballet, which I took as a kid, to anything in life you wish to explore, I fully believe we should all pursue our passion,” she said.

Kate’s go-to look
Meanwhile, Kate has stunned in her most recent appearance, at the AW Hainsworth Textiles mill, wearing a forest green pantsuit.
And fashionistas noted an intriguing detail – it’s the seventh pantsuit the princess has worn in a row.
Ahead of her arrival at the mill, she narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction when one of her heels appeared to have become stuck inside her trouser leg.

Her suit was accessorised with a chain necklace and gold earrings.

Visiting the men’s prison HMP High Down on September 12, the princess wore an Alexander McQueen suit in navy, accompanied by a necklace featuring the first letter of each of her children’s names.
Two days later, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited both Madley Primary School’s Forest School and Kings Pitt Farm.

Fashion expert Miranda Holder told Express.co.uk there was a reason for the princess’ wardrobe tweak.
“Since we first ‘met’ Kate, as the young, fresh-faced girlfriend of Prince William, we have witnessed her confidence blossom and her style transform, from the pretty girl next door to the elegant wife of our future king, to the infinitely more regal and refined Princess of Wales,” Holder told the publication.
“Her wardrobe has adjusted to suit her ever-evolving role within the family, and its latest incarnation has garnered much attention, but perhaps not for the reasons you would expect.
“It was announced earlier this year that the Palace would no longer release details of what and who Kate is wearing, most probably in an attempt to focus the world’s media on the important work the royals conduct rather than their fashion choices.
“But, despite this recent lack of information, Kate is still hailed as a fashion icon globally, with the ‘Kate effect’ bringing good fortune to the brands she champions.
“Perhaps this is why Kate’s image seems to have evolved yet again, with the princess wearing more and more suits in her latest role and wearing them exclusively for royal appointments since she returned from summer break.”
